Gorica Franciscan Museum

Thepermanent exhibition of the archaeological collection was realized in the new building of the museum complex on around 350 m² of the exhibition space. The exhibition is presented with a large number of exhibits of the archeological collection of cultural and historical continuity in the area of Livno and neighboring fields, from prehistoric periods to XVI . century, taking into account the professional, educational and artistic aspect and logical course of movement of visitors and sightseeing of the exhibits.
In addition to the chronological sequence, the schedule in the space is determined by thematic units within a period of time: everyday life, art, religion and letter. Each historical period is marked by a different color: prehistoricity - earthen-red , Rome - red, early Christianity - yellow-orange , Middle Ages -. archaeological exhibits are accompanied by illustrative attachments and ambient reconstructions in space.

Part of the illustrative material is transformed into videos that are projected along the musical background as part of a permanent lineup. Interaction with visitors envisages playing Roman games on the tokens panels and the possibility of weaving on the reconstruction of a prehistoric wooden weaver. The oldest exposed exhibits date from late Eneolithic. Early Bronze Age was marked by ceramic findings from Gradina. The special exhibition units are located from the prehistoric grave under tumula no. 16 on Kupres field . Delmatians were presented with findings from Gradina and findings from graves and warrior pantry. Upon the arrival of the Romans, Delmati assume the elements of Roman civilization; The exhibition part is divided into several thematic units: Roman army , Romanization , roads , architecture , costume , tools and zanjani epigraphy , games , cults and funeral customs . Early Christianity is testified by the fragments of church architecture and furniture. The findings are exposed to Krsni well and early Christian liturgy, everyday life and late antique necropolis. The tops of the Avar arrows marked the transition from the old to the Middle Ages. The arrival of Croats marked the beginning of the Middle Ages. A special thematic unit is a church architecture with exhibited fragments of church furniture. The showcases are exposed to jewelry , ceramic vessels , tools and weapons from graves. In the late Middle Ages, with the exposed jewelry and the costumes of the costume, the most important entities represent the findings from the Franciscan monastery Sv. Ive in Livno from the beginning XIV . The letter binds a letter to the late Middle Ages. A special place is occupied by Popa Terong> and from Listan written in Croatian Cyrillic Poloin XII .
